What: FD for SignalQuest inclinometer device driver.
Telestra SE will provide a PO to HYPACK for the funded development (FD) of a SignalQuest Inclinometer device driver (https://signalquest.com/products/).
Telestra will provide sensor(s) and software library to support this FD work.
When: The Telestra PO is expected in about 6 weeks (week of August 9th).
Why: SignalQuest is the Trimble OEM provider for inclinometers. A DREDGEPACK dll for this inclinometer will enable compatibility with Trimble-equipped inclinometers. This will expand HYPACK's opportunities to sell DREDGEPACK to machines already outfitted with Trimble sensors.
HYPACK currently only offers inclinometers by US Digital purchased through Etrac. Adding a second inclinometer offering by SignalQuest is a good alternative for our customers. Per Christian, customers have long asked for alternatives to the Etrac sensors.
*Note that Telestra is asking for exclusive selling rights to this dll for a period of 2 years.
