A user is having an issue with the fact that the perimeter color in Survey -> Vessels also changes the color of the data display text pertaining to the vessel. I understand this is by design, but in his case he wants to use the Ecdis Marker symbol which has no fill color but only perimeter color, and he wants it to display yellow, making the data display essentially unreadable.

In this situation, it would be nice to have a check box that says "use same color for data display text" which can be toggled on or off.
