The Print option in survey is a nice SMOutput.exe work around for marine construction albeit a bit clunky to configure and explain to customers. Its a "Print" function in HYPACK Hardware that is tied to to SURVEY under the Logging option.
Here a a few suggestions from customers and of my own for the betterment of the data junky construction community.
Allow in SURVEY not Hardware the path of the File and enabling of this feature
Change the way its formatted by paper space and field width to write:
Comma, Space or tab delimited
Write new file every day at 0000 as option instead of as a page header in same appending file
Remove it completely and take the fields that users want and put in SMOutput?
